Position Description
As Treasurer, you will be expected to:
- Serve as a Trustee, contributing to the organisation’s strategic direction and governance.
- Provide financial leadership and oversight, ensuring strong financial integrity.
- Support and challenge the executive team, contributing to effective decision making.
- Help agree the annual plan and budget, and monitor organisational performance.
- Oversee risk management, compliance and financial governance frameworks.
- Ensure the financial strategy supports the organisation’s long-term ambitions.
- Maintain robust audit and risk processes, strengthening accountability and transparency.
- Chair the Audit and Risk Committee and contribute to the Strategic Implementation and Finance Committee.
- Influence decisions that impact beneficiaries across the UK.
- Commit approximately two days per month to Board and committee responsibilities.
- Engage with a values-driven Board, contributing to a collaborative and supportive governance environment.
